Project Manager Geographic Information Systems/GIS (m/f/d)

In order to live up to this major responsibility, we operate more than 800 technical facilities — including dams,

Wastewater treatment plants and sewer networks — and develop efficient solutions for sustainable resource management.

Your tasks:

- Concept planning, overall coordination, resource planning and monitoring of project progress of GIS projects of the Ruhrverband

- Support of migration projects in the area of GIS

- Interface communication between professional and technical topics

- Maintaining a close exchange with all stakeholders and colleagues from the specialist departments and service providers

- Responsible implementation of the GIS roadmap

- Establishment and continuation of GIS user support and networking of GIS users

They offer us:

- Completed studies, preferably in the area of (business) informatics, geoinformatics, geomatics or comparable

- several years of professional experience in implementing IT or software projects using agile or classic methods are desirable

- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, Arcade)

- Distinctive interdisciplinary thinking

- Open, communicative personality with the ability to work in a team and assertiveness

- Interest in new developments and innovations in the field of GIS

- Safe use of ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro programs

- Knowledge of the ESRI-GIS product portfolio (desktop, online, enterprise,...)

- Completed Esri Technical Certification exam, SAP knowledge: module RE-FX/LUM, S/4 is an advantage
